Christ Center Life Learning Ministry can assist you by matching you with a team of volunteers to encourage and support you.  The teams are made up of interested individuals from our ministry and the community.

Teams of 2 or more volunteer mentors will offer:

¨Support and encouragementAssistance in areas such as:

  • Job coaching
  • Solution building
  • Budget planning
  • Time and household management
  • Making connections with other sources of help

Through this program the team members will meet with you weekly during the next 6 months or more.  They will help you work on your goals, including finding a job, or keeping the one your already have.  At one of the first meetings with your mentors, you will set your goals.  The volunteers who participate in the program do so for a variety of reasons including their beliefs and interests in helping you succeed.  You are required to join our church and attend worship services in order to participate in this program.

Teams represent many different beliefs and ethnic backgrounds.  If at all possible, we try to match you with a team that fits your wishes.  These teams are not trained professionals.  They offer emotional—not financial—support.
