i am so happy that i am getting this opportunity to share my story. i always knew there

was a god because i was raised up in church all my life.,but when i got older and started makling my own choices.

i turned my back on god and everything i knew and was taught  for a more glamours lifestyle. istarted drinking, selling

and using drugs. i was in and out of jail for all sorts of things but i still knew god was in my life and watching all the

wrong things i was doing. through each time i got in trouble i could hear my god saying no lynda this is not what i want

for you and again i said okay lord thanks for your opinion i get back with you after station identification and i continued

with my so called life.you see i knew that god didnt want me drinking, drugging, jumping in and out of cars and

selling drugs but i continued to do it anyway until March 7,2000,on that day my spirit told me if i stay in the house i was

going to jail.if i go outside i am going to jail, no matter what i do i am going to jail today and thats what happened i went

to jail. while i was going through processing in cook county jail for the first time in my life i picked up the bible without

being told,without being in church and for the first time i started reading the greatest book on earth the BIBLE and i

opened up the bible to the book of mark and i read that anything you ask for in jesus name shall be given  unto you

and i ask the lord in his name lord please allow me to go home and i just knew that when i prayed and asked in his

name he was that he was going to allow me to go home but to my suprise i was told no i couldn't go home just yet

by the judge whom i choose to say was god. i was sent to division 3 in cook county  jail inchicago,ill. where i spent

some of my time and during that time pastor David Massey came into my life. Pastor Massey did prison ministery at

the jail and he w ould come and minister  the women  in my division and i ask the lord right then and there to put

someone in my life to teach me of him and the right way he wanted me to live and each time pastor massey came i

had my bible in my hand  and i was always ready to hear and learn what god had to say to my heart. after that i started

going to every church service the jail had . for the first time in my life i was seeking gods face,gods life and what god

wanted me to know and do . before i got sentenced i told pastor massey that i was already a member of his church

and i would be at service when i got out. God has used me in so many different ways and for his glory! the lord has

cleaned a old dope feen, dope seller,ex prostitute,sick thinking woman like me up.Today i now live in Salem,Oregon.

i have a new life and a my life is under new mangement by God. I now have a new job, a new place to live and a brand

new assignment headed by god in a new church  Judson Baptist Church where Todd Scheler is the pastor . god

is truly a gracious and good god and i dare you to try him to come into your life and change your life . the same thing God

did for me I know my god wll do for you .I am currently a member of  two churches

CHRIST CENTER LIFE LEARNING MINISTRIES IN CHICAGO ILLINOIS AND JUDSON BAPTIST CHURCH IN SALEM,

OREGON and i thank my god for sending pastor Massey and Pastor Scheler into my life to help me turn  my life around

and continuing to do the will of god. i hope my story and testimony  will help and encourage turn another brother or

sister life for deliverance around. I DARE YOU TO TRY GOD. May god bless and
